Can’t leave home

so I can’t leave my home screen. Every time I scroll over it sends me right back to home. I tried a hard reset. Didn’t work. Thought maybe it was the controller but I switched and it’s still happening. Help me😭

That is definitely an odd issue. Can you please try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds till it shuts down then unplug it and let it sit for 5 minutes before trying again.

Have you tried to resync the controllers or run the controllers wired? Does it happen when you are in a game?

It works fine in game. No problems.

That is weird. I would try a resync of the controllers and make sure don't need an update by checking the Accessories app. Also are you able to access the Store through the Guide?

Customer support can’t offer additional switches. If you’ve made five home Xbox switches for the year and you need assistance, select Help when
you see the message Can’t make this your home Xbox. You may be eligible to receive an exception. If you don't have a survey, you'll have to wait until the limit resets on its own.
It's only recommended you leave your own console as your Home. If you're using the setting properly, you should not run out of changes.
