cant leave family group?

My daughter is using a microsoft account, however she has recently attempted to purchase something. When this happened we found out I am not the host of her family group, she is a child in a group with an unknown email account. It is one of my previous accounts, however I cannot figure out which due to it being a long string of letters and numbers "outlook_(insert letters and numbers)@outlook.com" .

She cannot leave the family group so this means she cannot use her account properly, she cannot make a new one as she has Game stuff attached to it, any suggestions?

Microsoft offers an option to leave a family group.

First you must go to this link and log in with your daughter's account:

https://account.microsoft.com/family/home

Then, click on the three dots next to your name and select the “Leave family group” option. You need to press “Remove” to confirm the action.

I also cant leave my family group because I don't have the permissions to and I cant give myself permissions in settings

Sorry to hear about that, however, you can leave the family group by asking the organizer to remove you from the group OR you can do it on your own as long as you're of legal age.

First, sign in here: https://account.microsoft.com/ Scroll down and you will see boxes (you should see "Discover, Family, Rewards, Outlook") If you see an organizer, click "View your Family" (you should see "yourself and the organizer") from there, you will see "You" and beside is the 3 dots and click "Go to Overview"

Once you're there, click "Overview" on the left panel > Scroll down and you should see "Member settings" and the option to "Leave the family group".

The problem is that i am already in a family group and i cant leave it. Yes i have also tried kicking myself out by the operator.
