    Can't launch Forza Horizon 4: "The storage you were downloading to has become disconnected"


    I get this message when Forza Horizon 4 tries to update.

    "The storage you were downloading to has become disconnected

    Error Code: 0x80070015"

    It does not affect the 2 other games I have installed (they launch fine).

    I cannot see any way to re-install/verify files/change install location.

    I did install a new HDD recently but this should not affect the other drive which my XBox games are installed on.

    Already tried that thanks.

    It didn't work.

    So I tried uninstalling XBOX app. Then I tried re-downloading it from Windows Store. I now can't install anything from Windows Store.

    As a test I tried installing Minesweeper. Got the same error message. (0x80070015)

    In then checked Event Viewer and found something interesting.

    Hello,

    For Microsoft Game Downloads you need to select your Install Drive.

    1. Open your Settings app and click System.
    2. Go to Storage.
    3. Locate the ‘Change where new content is saved’ link.

    4. Go to the ‘New apps will save to:’ section.

    Tried that and it still doesn't work. I not cannot install anything from Microsoft Store. For example I tried installing Minesweeper and kept getting error 0x80070015 again.

    I had already set drive correctly- it didn't work.
