Can't launch Fallout 4 all of a sudden. Error 0x82D40007

"Sign in with the account that purchased the game or app, or, if it's a trial version that has expired. purchase the game or app from the Microsoft Store. For detailed instructions, select Help."

This is a game that I have played extensively over the past few days and was just about to finish the final quests...

I got it through my 1 month free game pass subscription (which is still active and several days away from billing date).

I only ever had my one account on this brand new Xbox One X and it is set as my home xbox.

Please advise what this might be due to, so that I can finish this masterpiece of a game.

NOTE: This occurred after I had booted my xbox and it had some network issues, I simply disconnected the wifi and connected it again and the internet was working fine. Not sure if this is related but it was right before this error with the game occurred.

Can't Play Fallout 4

So I have had Fallout 4 sense it release and I had the disc for it and it started playing the game with out the disc and now the error came up and I have no clue why and I never played it on a free day to play. So I need help to figure this out if you want

Hi! Assuming you own the game, of course you don't need Game Pass in order to play it (at least as long as it works as intended). Can you have another look if the error code you posted is correct? Seems like the error code search can't find anything for
it: Xbox Error Status Codes | Xbox Support

 

I'll suggest to
power cycle your console and try launching the game again.

If this doesn't work try uninsalling the game and then install it back.

Also good to check your game pass subscription at account.microsoft.com.

 

I believe this may be because it was removed from Game Pass. You'll need to purchase the game in order to play it now.

Thanks for the suggestion.

I'm not sure how this works but I can no longer see Fallout 4 in the Game Pass-tab.

So I am not certain if I uninstall it, that I will be able to install it again after?

Is this perhaps where the problem lies? I assumed that even if games were removed from the game pass tab, that you would still keep them. If not then there should have been warnings before it was just disabled for me while on my final quests...

 

I sure hope not, that would be the [Mod Removed- Profanity] of moves, as I was not given any due dates or warnings that this would occur.

 

But is correct, fallout 4 left the gamepass so if you have gamepass and you trying to run the game you wont be able to run him, only can if you buy him.
