    Can't join Xbox Live


    I created an account on xbox 360 and can sign into it. In the menu it says "Join xbox live" i fill in the forms it gets to the end and i am at the xbox dashboard were you choose the account to sign in with, i choose my account and i am back were I started with it telling me to "join xbox live" so what am i doing wrong? i get no error at any point.

    Can't join Xbox Live

    Hi there welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan just like you and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. Well try this:

    1. Turn off your Xbox using the power button on the console.

    2. Once your Xbox has completely powered down, unplug the power cord from the back of the console. Don't simply unplug the cord from the wall's electrical socket — it must be disconnected from your Xbox.

    3. Wait for 5 minutes, and then reconnect the power cord to both the Xbox console and the electrical socket.

    4. Let another minute pass and turn it on afterwards. And try again!

    Ugh! There's still a bug that keeps me from joining partys'. I tried joining my friends party but it kept on saying can't connect to xbox live party, same for my friends, they can't join my party's unless they reset their (turn off/turn back on) xbox.
