    Can't join or start parties on Xbox Beta


    I have tried reinstalling the app. Opening up the audio settings displays a sad face and a volume slider (which I cannot change) and a enable push to talk checkbox (which I can not enable)

    Right clicking on a friends profile and clicking "Join Xbox One party" does nothing and keeps the context menu open however clicking start voice chat closes the context menu but still does nothing. Opening the player card by clicking on a friends profile
    picture and clicking start voice chat acts the same as in the context menu.

    Reinstalling it changes the join xbox one party button to be always grayed out even when my friend is in a party that is not invite only.

    Hi damp,

    Thanks for coming to the forums with your issue. We recommend trying to uninstall and reinstall the app. As it is a Beta there are multiple issues with this app as of late.

    when i join party on game bar it crashs

    Do the Xbox Beta or the Xbox Console Companion apps crash if you try to use those to join/start parties as well, or is it purely contained to Xbox Game Bar?

    There was a problem with the services but that has been resolved. Check to make sure it is working for you now.
