    Can’t join multi player game today. Could play yesterday no problem.


    I tried to join a multiplayer game and got an error message. The error message said this microsoft account doesn’t allow you to join multiplayer games. I’ve been playing multiplayer for weeks without problems. I have not made any changes to my account
    settings. How do i fix this?

    I don’t have a console. I’m playing Minecraft pocket edition with my friends using the XBox live app. Should I still be trying to check my NAT type? Thanks!

    Have you checked your NAT type of your xbox? Sometimes you may restart and your xbox is assigned a port that may not be open.

    I would suggest trying a Multiplayer Connection Test and see what error you get after the test.

    Follow the steps in that link and see how it goes.

    try removing the account from the console, doing a hard restart, hold the power button for 10 seconds while the system is on, and then re-adding the account.
