    Can’t join Minecraft world on same WiFi


    My sister and I have this world that we play together 24/7, but one day my mom did something to the wifi which usually doesnt affect our game so I thought everything was fine. We both play bedrock and we use the same wifi and we’re both signed in to an account, so usually when I join her, I can only join when her world is under LAN games, not under Joinable Friends, which I’m totally fine with but now every times I open Minecraft to play with her, it only appears under Joinable Friends and I can’t join her anymore. I don’t think it’s the WiFi’s fault but I’m not sure. Help? I really like our world and I don’t want to lose the progress I have made.

    I have the same problem! I can join other people’s worlds, but when i create a world people can’t join my world even when I invite them. I have cellular data does that have anything to do with it? When i go into settings in Minecraft it wont let me turn
    on friends of friends. Please Help! It is ios.

    “Join Multiplayer Games” Settings
    If you have your settings set to block joining multiplayer games, you can’t join any multiplayer games in Minecraft, including shared local worlds, Realms or servers. To enable multiplayer in Minecraft, make sure this setting is set to ‘Allow.’

    However, just like ASCllnaut, that setting was already turned on for my children. In other words I'm in the same boat, we can play on the LAN but not on a realm.

    One child hosts the multiplayer world the other child cannot join that world, while on the same WiFi network. A friend of the hosting child CAN join the world via internet connection from a totally different home. I've already verified they can join mutiplayer games via parental controls.
