    Can’t invite friends to play free to play games but can invite them to party .


    recently upgraded from a Xbox one s to a Xbox one series s . Now that I have got my new series s I cannot invite friends to free to play games such as fortnite or warzone . I have talked two different support people and the issue is still not resolved. What should I do to fix this issue my wifi is good and I have done just about every troubleshooting step and still I am not able to invite friends to a game but can invite them into a party.

    I need this issue fixed asap a bought a brand new Xbox one series s from Microsoft there should be no reason why it’s not working

    I invite them usually through the Xbox in the party chat or I click their gamer tag and it through that . I also will invite them to game using fornite invites or warzone and it doesn’t work . The option to invite to the game through the party or game tag still shows up as grey and does not let me
