Discus and support can't install Xbox Beta app in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; I can't install the xbox app on pc, neither from the microsoft store, or from the dedicated installer, I tried everything, update windows, clean boot,...     I can't install the xbox app on pc, neither from the microsoft store, or from the dedicated installer, I tried everything, update windows, clean boot, delete temporary files, reset the store, everything.
    The download does not start from the store, and the installer hangs on "making things awesome".

    Are you using the Xbox Beta app to install Gears 5? You need to use the Xbox Beta app, not the Windows Store app.

    How to enable mods on the new Xbox app?

    I didn't mean that the one on the Microsoft store was a Child account, but that you could install games for adults if you have an adult account on the Microsoft store app, if you don't see moods option on the Xbox app it's because one of 2 reasons

    1.- Game do not support moods
    2.- Account used in the Xbox app it's a Child account
    Well, then that's a bug with the new beta for the Xbox app, before joining the beta program I could install mods for games on the game page, it's just now that I joined the beta that I can't.

    I have restarted, restarted modem, flushed dns, signed in and out etc, also tried task manager fix. tried looking in windows store for updates, as per recommendation from another website. No luck. The mobile app can't install games, my other computer
    can't install games, the windows store can't install games, and the xbox beta app can't install games. This is seriously broken and I haven't seen any effort from Microsoft to fix it
