    Can't install the xbox BETA launcher


    So yesterday i succesfully downloaded and installed the xbox app on my pc. After closing it down it didn't want to start. I figured i'd need to restart my pc so i closed down for the day. Tried today and it didn't start up so i deleted it to re install.
    Right now it won't install, no matter what i do. Whenever i press install, the installer just freezes. Anyone know what to do?

    Thanks for reaching out to the Xbox Forums Community for advice on how to resolve this issue you're experiencing with the beta app.

    Have you tried to run this program after a clean boot of your PC?

    If you get a chance, give that a shot and let us know if haven't already by reviewing the steps outlined in

    How to perform a clean boot in Windows     and let us know if that helps the situation at all.

    I have the same problem, but mine i uninstalled, 'cause it wasn't downloading the games, now i can't install it again, and my microsoft store don't cancel the downloads

    Performing a clean boot, and then running the app installer in administrator mode worked for me. ~2 minutes

    Then go to the app install folder and run as administrator.

    Before i did this i would click "install" and the app would just sit there dead. couldn't move it around the desktop anymore, close out, etc...Task manager would still show it as running fine, and in 32 bit.

    After the reset it immediately went into installing.
