Can't install minecraft from microsoft store even though i already own it.

I have owned minecraft for several years and i own the cross-platform windows 10 edition of the game on my xbox. I want to play the game on my computer but it doesnt give me the option to install it and instead makes me rebuy it. If i own a game i should
not have to purchase it for a second time. On top of this, i own Java edition, and have owned that for many years as well (got it around 2014 or early 2015), and you are supposed to be able to get the windows 10 edition on PC for free if you owned the game
before october 2018 and i have owned it for much longer than that. The thing is, whenever you tried to claim your code it would say that there was no more codes or some BS like that. Microsoft owns minecraft, so there are many problems with the fact that i
cannot play it on my computer. This problem needs to be fixed because i do not want to spend another 30 dollars on a game that i already payed for.

Yes, I am aware of that and that is precisely what I am complaining about. The game is owned by Microsoft for God's sake. It should be a play anywhere game. But if you read you would realize that that is only half the problem. I owned Java edition for
several years and as such I am entitled to a free copy of the windows 10 edition. Though the promotion never worked and nobody in their customer service would help about it because they want you to buy it.

Thats where you're wrong. I tried to claim the game from the promotion a long time ago, this is not the first time I have made this complaint, I responded on the Mixcraft wiki but their customer service sucks.

if you didnt claim your free windows 10 version having owned the java version before it expire a good few months ago your out of luck, you need to purchase the windows 10 version.

Minecraft is not a Xbox Play Anywhere game, and as such you have to purchase it again on the platform you want to play it on.

This includes all the platforms the game is available on.

I have installed it via the Xbox itself it says I install on the store as if I own it but after all the splash screen it then says on the game that I have to but it from the store even though I already own it
