    Can't install media features


    Ok, so I just recently got a new computer and have been installing my games and have run across just one that won't play. It's from the EA Games app, and I get the error problem with setup. I have found out that it seems I'm missing the media feature. I have checked that it is turned on. But I didn't follow the step of adding the registry key because I don't know a lot about computers, and a warning there from Microsoft said that it could cause problems with Windows if anything was done wrong. So I didn't want to chance it. I have gone to the list that people provided on how to get media feature, through settings then apps. but its not listed. It also has a section for choosing your version of windows. My system says I have 21H2 but there is no N anywhere. Does this make a difference?

    Is there anyone that can help? Keeping in mind that I don't understand computer talk. lol I only understand when things go right.

    ok, I didn't know there were multiple media features, and I am not 100% sure that's what my problem is. All I know is that this game worked fine on windows before I got my new computer. The only reason I know anything about media feature is through posts from people having the same issue with the game.

    This is what I get each time I try to load the game. I have tried reinstalling many times.

    I use the EA play app. But I have figured out my issue. I just needed direct x.
