Can't install MCC through Game Pass on PC

I have the game pass app on my phone and decided to try to remote install the Halo Master Chief Collection to my PC. On my phone, after at least 4 hours, it is still "installing" with 0% progress. On the computer Xbox (Beta) app, there are no installations
in progress, and every time I try to install the game, it starts then immediately stops with no error messages. For the split second that it tries to download the game, it shows that it is 0 B and processing. I don't know if this is connected to the phone
app being stuck, or if this is a separate issue.

There also appears to be no way to stop installations via the phone, at least none that I can find. I feel as though that may solve the issue if they are connected. If not, I'd still like to figure out why I can't install the game.

My PC is selected as my default PC, both are logged in under the same account, both are connected to the internet, there's enough space, I've restarted both apps and signed out and in again, etc. I'm not sure why this isn't working, and would love some help.

Is this folder on the computer itself (if so where can I find it), or is this within one of the apps? I'm not seeing anything titled "Game Settings" anywhere.

Hi try change the folder in Settings > Game Settings for see if that solve. And Check the Permissions Write of your User on the folder too

If, in your history area, it will only let you install to Xbox and not PC, then it;s the Xbox version....I have the MCC on my Xbox and my PC Store won't allow me to install it naturally. As it sounds like you bought it from a 3rd party, you'd need to go back to them and get a refund or exchange.

An alternative if you only want to play the game once is to maybe subscribe to the PC Game Pass for a month or 2 as Reach is included within the GP version of the MCC. The PC Game Pass is still £1 (depends on local currency) for the first month

Have you had Game Pass Ultimate or Game Pass for PC? MCC is included in Game Pass.

I have Halo MCC through Game Pass. I have been a subscriber for a year now. Do I own it now?

I am worried if I cancel Game Pass I will have to purchase and then re-install the game.
