Can't install halo via game pass on xbox app (I had already played it on game pass more...

I can't even install the game via XBOX app, because I dont have "Game Pass"...But i had purchased minecraft...

Unfortunately, this is happening to a lot of users as well, we do believe it's a bug within the xbox app. :/

There are a few things we could try, though.

So, let's try this, first, make sure your windows and all its services are up to date:

Open Settings, click Update and Security and then Windows Update;

Click Check for Updates;

Click the Download and Install Now option, if available;

Also, check the Microsoft Store for any updates on the Xbox apps and its services.

Then try this:

Go to windows settings > apps > search for gaming services app > click on it and select advanced options.

After that, click repair and then restore, open the app and try again.

Then do the same for the Xbox app:

Go to windows settings > apps > search for Xbox app > click on it and select advanced options.

After that, click repair and then restore, open the app and try again.

Then, try to uninstall and install the Xbox app.

If it still doesn't work you're going to uninstall the games services using a powershell command, then you're going to open the gamepass app, it will ask you to download and install the game services again :

In the windows search bar type Powershell > Right click and select open as administrator > Type the command: "get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-Appxpackage –allusers" > Wait for the process to finish and then restart the PC, then open your Xbox gamepass app, it will ask you to install the gaming services again, install it and try again.

If neither of those procedures works, try to restore your PC's OS via the ISO image tool, using that tool you will be able to maintain your installed games and files.

Can you see Halo Infinite in your Xbox library? Or in the Microsoft Store library?

i have pretty much done all the steps you've said previous with the repair and resets etc, i feel like halo is installed but i cant locate it but i have no idea how to find the file.

I have already played the game im like 3 hours into the campaign i just had issues so tried restarting

This code, is usually related to update issues within windows OS. Is currently showed a lot within the xbox app, among others as well. At this point, since this is happening to a lot of users, with a variety of games and updates of those games, it could be an issue within the app itself, regardless of the hardware. :/ Even I came across this issue on my Mac, running windows on parallells.
