Can't install Halo and Xbox app is missing on Windows 10

Hello, I'm trying to install Halo: The Master Chief Collection on my computer and I'm not able to do it.

When I press "Install on my devices"...

...an error message comes up:

I started investigating this, and I think the reason that Windows Store can't detect my system has something to do with the fact that my Xbox app is missing, and I've done everything I could find, except resetting Windows... Which really don't want to do
unless I have to, because downloading all my software and games again would be hell on 1MB/s internet...

Before trying to download the game, I did the following because it just made sense/I had to:

Start a Game Pass 3-month trial;

Add my Microsoft account to my computer.

The error message then came up, and I did the following to try to install the missing Xbox app:

Admin PowerShell:

"Reinstall" all Windows default apps with one command;

"Reinstall" specifically the Xbox app through 2 different commands;

Start all Xbox services on Task Manager:

Search for the Xbox app on the Windows Store, but only "Xbox (Beta)" existed, I installed that and noticed nothing.

I'm feeling helpless and like resetting Windows is the only option here... But that can't be it, why is my Xbox app missing and why can't I install it in any way?

Thank you for your time. I hope someone can help me be able to play Halo Reach again but on the computer!

If you have Windows 10 Pro or greater installed, This helped for me.

Find "Local Group Policy Editor".
Then look in "Computer Configuration".
- Expand "Administrative Templates", then "System, then "Filesystem" and finally click on "NTFS".
- There will be a setting called "Do not allow encryption on all NTFS volumes". If it is "Not Configured", then you're fine. Otherwise...
  - Double-click on the setting and set it to "Not Configured" and then restart your computer.

You should now be able to download any app to any drive.

I found the fix to this frustrating issue. You basically need to update your windows 10, its just not letting you know about it. If you go and try to play gears 5 the issue will pop up and tell you you need to update. Click update and you will begin updating
windows 10, after its updated you will be able to install and play halo reach.

Thank you for the idea, but I just updated my windows and drivers are all updated as well. I cant seem to download Halo master chief collection and am getting the same error message as the original post says. It cannot find the device. plzzz help!! I just
bought the game pass.
