    Cant install gifted US game in Europe


    Hi a friend from the US bought me a gam callled "Rouge Company" and since i live in Europe, Portugal the game wont install.

    Could you please solve the problem? Thank you

    Error message says something about "cant retrieve code in this country"

    Gifting is region locked. You would only be able to use the code if you were also in the US. Your friend can try to get a refund, but there is no way around region locking.

    this is where they need to protect consumers by not allowing gifting if the recipient is in another region. Completely Microsoft fault on this one.

    If you are Living in europe Please install "NFL Game Pass Europe". If you live in the US just try to delete and re-install the app.

    The free game is FIFA 14. It used to be Forza 5, but those flew off the shelves a while ago. The love for Football in Europe makes FIFA a thoughtful gift.
