    Can't install games on Xbox PC


    As the title suggests; I am unable to install games from the Xbox app on my PC. When I click on 'Install', I get the option to select which drive to install on. However, I only have one drive (the C: Drive) and I can't install any games on it because it says "This location isn't set up for installing games". My C: Drive has a 1TB storage so I have enough storage to install games on it. I have reinstalled all Xbox related apps and reset my PC, without any success. This issue has never occurred with other companies such as Steam and Epic Games.

    I created a new NTFS partition, but it didn't fix it. On both drives it says "This location isn't set up for installing games." even after changing the location of where apps should be installed.

    P.S,

    I have Windows 10 for future reference.

    Got it, Lucius let's try this. Create a new NTFS partition in your PC and select it as where new content is saved (Windows Settings > System > Storage > (advance storage settings if you're on windows 11*) > under apps select this new drive.

    After that try installing a new game, once you was able to install it. Select again the C: drive as where new content is saved and install a different game there

    If yes, are you able to see these folder inside your C: drive?
    "WindowsApps", "XboxGames", "WpSystem"?
