Cant install games on PC Gamepass beta

Hi,

Im currently having issues with downloading/installing any game on the PC.

I installed FM2019 and Worms fine, then I tried to install Forza and it instantly went to 50% and gave an error

Then it seemed like it downloaded it and installed it but I couldnt access the folders on my PC, saying I needed to be an admin (which I am)

I reinstalled everything, formatted the drive I installed the games on and tried again, now Forza wont even install anything, just straight up error. I tried installing Shadow of War, and whilst it downloaded and installed, the app again says I need to install
it. The folders that are being used are also locked up so tight that I can't even access them without manually adding all users to the read/write permissions to the DeliveryOptimization folder (where theres a cached version of the download for some reason)
and the WindowsApps folderr. I have to start the game from the start menu because neither the PC app or the .exe in the folder will work

Not sure what the hell is going on but its not good

Are you using the Xbox (beta) app on PC to install Gamepass games?

Follow those steps;

Open Settings.

Click on Update & security.

Click on Windows Insider program.

If you see the Get started button,then you are not a participant.

If installing the games from the windows store is allowing a complete install and playable game it's ok to continue.

So your not putting them on you C drive or what is considered you master drive?

Have you tried doing a repair? Just open settings and select apps, then find xbox (beta) you will see advanced options in blue click that then look for rest and select repair.

One other thing that you can try if you haven't is open your file explorer folder and

1. Go to "This PC"

2. Double click "OS (C

"

3. Open "Users"

4. Open your username (The Profile you are currently working in)

5. Open "AppData"

6. Open "Local"

7. Open "Packages"

8. Open "Microsoft.WindowsStore_8wekyb3d8bbwe"

9. Open "LocalCache"

10. Delete the entire folder, with contents, you see there.

No, the theory with that is it can cause errors with some things functioning properly.
