    Can't install games on Game Pass PC


    Hi all,

    I'm having trouble installing games through Game Pass on PC. I recently had to reinstall windows on my PC but I didn't have to delete game data so my steam games and such were still on my HDD and some were on my SSD.

    I'm trying to install Sea of Thieves and it installs up to 90% and keeps giving me an error code of 0x80070005. I've tried looking into this error code but nothing seems to be working. Is anyone else having this issue? Anything you all think I should do?

    I apologize if this isn't the correct reddit. If it's not, please direct me to the right one. Thanks in advance.

    Xbox Pass PC

    I wrote that i installed game by xbox app with pc pass -_-

    Second thing, game is not installed, only files left...files what I can't get into.

    PC Games are in "Xbox Game Pass" but aren't in "Xbox Game Pass PC"

    Games like Borderlands 2 or Minecraft can be install if I had a xbox one but to PC I can't (xbox game pass PC) !! Why ?!

    Tve Xbox Game Pass from console its different from the Xbox Game Pass on PC!

    Some games are exclusive for console and others for PC.

    Btw remember tha Xbox Game Pass on PC it's just started, so you will see more and more games will be add on Game Pass.

    It looks like you don't have any applicable devices linked to your Microsoft account. To install, sign in on a device with your Microsoft account.

    Hi,

    You need the Game Pass application installed on your PC to download Gears 5 with the subscription, it can't be installed from the Windows Store.

    But Borderlands and Minecraft were always exclusive for PC (for years)... but for MS and "Game Pass" both are exclusive for Console ! 🤔

    You need to install the Game Pass for PC app to install games from Game Pass on your PC.
