Cant Install Games of Disc old/New After Update!!

Nothing wrong with disc just put on just cause 4 been playing games 4 over 5 years since update have nothing but problems recognize game there but says eject or help cant install thats on internal xbox hd not usb cache clear reset yesterday then put game
on works fine tryed put some more games on wont let me at all Nothing wrong with my xbox stupid update everyone is having Problems Downloaded Demo fine supose 2 be on new games but old ones too!!

If that happens with every game disc your console probably has a disc driver issue. Consider filing for repairs.

Have you tried going to settings\devices & streaming\blu-ray and then clearing persistent storage or hard resetting your console by holding the power button for ten seconds? That always helps when my xbox one won't read discs.

The new games are on discs. So am I right in saying I should be ok to install them on the new xbox, and if I don't insert the disc on the old (home) xbox, they won't show up as ready to install?

Physical games on disc will only work and install on the console you installed the disc on.

So if you only insert the disc into your new console, they do NOT show up on the old console.

If you do NOT want the games on the old console (if the new One X is the christmas present), you're done. Just make sure you turn on the console one day before christmas and check for updates, just to be sure.

Also, if not already done so, make sure that your kids have their own accounts, and do not use your own adult account for your kids!

If you DO want the games on the old console to be ready for christmas, you will have to manually install the games on the old console (or use the network transfer to copy the games to the old console through your home network). Or you could install the disc
games on the external hard drive, and on christmas eve, simply plug the hard drive in the console you wish to play the games, and insert the disc as "proof of purchase", and the console will run the game without needing to wait for installation, or updates
(if the game was already updated on your new console).

i cant even install it on my new XB1S console it keeps saying the disc is dirty or damaged but i can install it without problems on my old xb1 console
