Can't install game or run apps - error code 0x8007045d

Thanks for responding, but clearing the Mac address and power cycling the console did not solve the problem. I don't think it is a network connection issue. I am connecting fine and network statistics show 77 Mbps download, 0% packet loss, and 59 ms latency. Multiplayer connection also shows "all good" and NAT type is open.

I was finally able to get a game to install. While disconnected from the internet, I installed the game from the disk and was able to load it. When I went online, it required that I do an update, which was over 50GB. It successfully installed the update, but now the game will no longer load/run. I get one of the following errors messages when I try to start the game:

1. Something went wrong. Give it another try. If it happens again, visit xbox.com/errorhelp and enter the following code: 0x8007045d

2. Please try again. For some reason Halo 5: Guardians took too long to start. (0x8027025a)

Nothing at the link you posted above deals with the problem I am having. I reluctantly did another console reset with the "keep my games and apps" option. That did not solve the problem. Getting the same error messages.

Is there somewhere I can send the console to get it diagnosed/fixed or what are my options?

I would like you to go through the following steps to clear the Mac address and then perform a quick power cycle on your console:

Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear it and the console should restart. It would definitely help if you could restart the internet router while the console is restarting.

After going through the troubleshooting steps mentioned, I invite you to perform a quick power cycle by turning off the console and then unplugging all the cables. After 2 to 3 minutes, re-plug them back again, then restart your console.

In case the issue still persists, the next step would be to perform a reset on the console. To do so you will need to follow the steps below to perform a reset on the Xbox:

Settings > System > Console Info > Reset This Xbox > Reset and Keep my Games and Apps.

Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you to sign in to the account.
