Can't install anything with XBox App

    Can't install anything with XBox App


    I just installed the XBox App (and just converted over 3 years of Gold to Game Pass Ultimate), but I can't install anything due to "Unknown Available" listed for storage available. Restarting the app doesn't help.

    In Settings, "Change where this app installs by default" is an empty dropdown - nothing to select.

    Any ideas? At this point, Game Pass is literally useless to me (on PC at least)

    The system has a 1TB C: SSD drive; and an F: spinny disk, E: DVD, D: SD slot, and a few network mounted shares (S: and TCan't install anything with XBox App :). Win10.

    Restarting my PC seems to have solved it.

    Xbox App broken game installs

    The games don't show up in the apps list. I can't cancel or download the games through the Microsoft Store, it requires me to install said games through the Xbox app (game pass games). I tried wsreset, but it didn't resolve the issue, as the 2 games still show up as ready to install, and I can't do anything except view the installs in the Xbox app

    Maybe you need to try and reconnect your internet. Or you could try using an Ethernet cable on your Xbox.

    For us to have a better understanding of your concern, kindly clarify the following details:

    • Have you made any changes to your device before encountering this issue?
    • Are you referring to installation of applications from the Windows Store?

    If you have issues with downloading or running applications downloaded from the Windows Store, we suggest that you access this

    link     and run the Windows apps troubleshooter.

    If that didn't work, kindly reset the Windows Store manually. Here are the steps:

    1. Press the Windows + R keys to open the Run dialog box.
    2. Type WSReset.exe and click OK.
    3. The Store and a command prompt will now open with any message. The command prompt will automatically close after the Store's cache has been reset.

    Im having the same problem. I heard rumors that their fixing something about a glitch but havent heard anything from xbox themselves. Hopefully this is fixed soon. Bought a 40 dollar game and can't even install it.
