    Can't install any games on the PC Xbox app, stuck at 0% downloading.


    Recently upgraded my PC and did a fresh install of Windows 11. Downloads either get stuck at 0% downloading, or Preparing, and can't cancel them either. I've tried so many solutions (reinstalling Windows, all apps and services involved, changing region, using a VPN, disabling firewall, different drives) and I don't know what to do at this point. Nothing works and I just want to make use of my Game Pass subscription I paid for.

    You're not the only one.... I can't download any Gold games at all (stuck at 0% installing), and no apps load, either.

    Yeah, every time someone adds onto it saying they tweaked a step and it works I get all excited, just to be stuck with the 0% 0B/s download...

    My only saving grace here is that most of the games I can't download on the Xbox App are just fine on the console side of things, but PC users shouldn't have to be jumping through this many hoops and hurdles.

    I have installed all updates for windows, including the optional updates. I have done a security scan with windows defender and malbytes anti malware and found nothing, my internet is currently stable without any drops in performance of packet loss

    Update system and apps is absolutely necessary.

    Maybe a malware in your PC is doing something wrong.

    Internet connection could be a problem if your network is saturated.
