    Can't install any game pass related game on PC "ERROR Something unexpected happened"


    1. I've fully updated my PC to the latest version of Windows 10.

    2. I've reinstalled the Xbox Companion App, Xbox Beta App, Microsoft store

    3. Reset the microsoft store.

    4. Restarted my computer multiple times.

    5. I'm not running a VPN.

    6. UAC is on.

    7. Windows Update service is enabled in on.

    I'm pretty sure I've tried everything. I own Sea of Thieves and I can install the game no problem. But any game that I don't own and I only temporarily own due to Xbox Game Pass, I can't install at all. I've tried Halo MCC, City Skylines W10 Edition, Crackdown
    3, and the game that I actually want to play, Minecraft Dungeons. None of them will install.

    I got similar issue, time ago... I've solved with a brand new installation of windows 10...

    The only solution I found was to reset Windows. I chose the "keep my files" option, and that still did it, however, I wouldn't so I was happy about having to reinstall a bunch of drivers, certain programs, retweak all my settings, etc.

    Gamepass for PC won't launch games

    Tried to delete and install project wingman, few seconds after the installation began it gave me error "0x00000001 something unexpected happened"

    I'm pretty tech savvy but this one has me stumped. As soon as I try and download anything from the XBox app it just says error immeidately. I've ran CHKDSK and SFC and a malware anti root kit and I've ran ADWCLeaner with the reset tags for Winsock, Windows installer, delete prefetch files, tracing keys, reset firewall and delete IFEO. It's even a fresh install of Windows and I still have the same issue :(

    Persona 5 is on game pass though :) go check it out ! I was about 10 hours into it before it decided no more XBox Game Pass.
