Can’t Include Party Chat Audio In Windows 10 App

Hello! I am having trouble with the Xbox Windows 10 app in regards to party chat. The Older version of said app had worked fine in regards to my current issue. So to clear things up, party chat itself is working fine i can connect to a party and
it functions as should. Here is where the problem lies. When a friend is streaming on twitch via the xbox series s and i am in the party, it should give me the option to include my audio so that my voice can be heard in the stream. The actual problem is that
it does not give a prompt or any option to include said audio when friend in the party is streaming. Very frustrating as the older version of the windows 10 app had a similar, almost identical UI as the actual XBOX ONE party chat. When your friend would start
streaming when in the party an option with a box would appear in the party ui to include your audio. You would simply just click on the box and it would tick it and bam, my party chat audio would be able to be heard in friends twitch stream. Hopefully I can
get a prompt and easy solution as this has driven me crazy today. Thanks

    :)

    Twitch Streaming

When you stream through Xbox there is a setting in the twitch app to include party chat. But the party members have to allow their audio to be used. If you have “Party Chat” muted on the broadcast screen (it's in between “Microphone” and “Game”), or won't have the option to include audio.

Xbox game bar mic not working?

Hi. My name is Brilliant, an independent advisor, happy to assist you today.

To use many of the Xbox features within Game Bar, including Party Chat, you must have the Xbox app for Windows installed and be signed in.

If you’re having audio problems with Xbox parties on your Windows device, try the following solutions:
    1. Make sure your audio device is turned on.
    2. Check your party audio settings in Game Bar.
    3. Check the Xbox Status.
    4. Check your privacy settings.
    5. Check your Windows volume settings.
    6. Check your audio connection.
    7. Check and unplug any audio accessories.
    8. Run the Windows audio troubleshooting solution.
    9. Check for Windows updates.
    10. Restart your Windows device.
    11. Plug audio devices into different USB ports on your PC.
    12. Check app permissions.
    13. Check for known issues and updates from the manufacturer.
    14. Scan your device for potential viruses.
    15. Uninstall Xbox App services > Restart PC > Install app.

Streaming and Capturing Party Chat Question

    Hi PassyPass,

Thanks for coming to the forums in search of a solution to your issue with capturing party chat. I assume you stream your Xbox one gameplay using your PC and a capture card right? Did you know that you can start a Xbox Live party chat from the Xbox App for
    Windows?

    • Open the Xbox app on Windows 10.
    • If you haven't already sign in to the app using Xbox Live Microsoft Account.
    • Click on the cogwheel settings icon on the left.
    • In the general tab, scroll down to Party and check that the correct microphone and speakers you want to use are selected.
    • In the top right corner, select the Party icon to open the Party bar on the right side of the app.
    • Select Start a party .
    • Select Invite and then Invite to party to add friends to the chat.
From here simply include the party audio into your preferred broadcast software. I hope this helps.

    Happy Gaming
