    Can't hear party chat when switching to full screen applications.


    Title says it all. I can hear people when I used windowed full screen but once I switch the game (Fortnite) to fullscreen people cannot hear me and I can't hear them.

    (Yea I have checked out all of the troubleshooting and Reddit articles but nothing is on the EXACT topic.)

    Can't hear anyone in party chat

    Need some help.

    When i party-up, I can't hear anyone in the party chat. They can hear me. However, when i switch to game chat, everything is fine. I can hear them, they can hear me. They are not mited, my NAT type is open. The controller volume is fine. Anyone else have
    this problem?

    When I'm in a party and we are in game chat we can't hear each other in the loading screen when the round is starting is it just me?

    Hello Neyland,

    Thanks for coming to the forums with your question. When you trying to hear the in game audio are you in a party chat? If so you will have to switch between party and game chat. You can do so by press the guide or home button on left panel go to multiplayer
    when in party under there will be option to switch to game chat. Also what game are you trying to play when using game chat and unable to hear?

    My headset only works in party chat. When I'm playing other games I can see that people are talking but I can't hear them and they can't hear me. It only works in party chat.

    Nope. When you're in a party, only other people in the party can hear you.

    You can manually switch to game chat while remaining in the party, but unless you do that, only other party members will hear you.

    While the party is snapped back out to the dashboard and highlight it, press Start and select Quit then rejoin the party.

    If you get in and can't hear anyone you're probably in Game Chat. Be sure to try switching to Party Chat by highlighting your gamertag and press A then select the proper option.
