Can’t hear in-game voice chat.

This just started to happen to me. In any game I play, people can hear me, but I can’t hear them. Party chat works fine.

I have tried a headset I use on ps5 that I know works, and it does the same thing.

I have tried factory reset of my router and Series X, and that did nothing.

I have tried clear the Alternate Mac Address cache and that did nothing.

I have tried just about everything possible on my end. I know A lot of other people are having this same problem. This literally has to be a firmware issue.

It’s funny because my PS5 headset is hooked up the exact same way as my Series X and the PS5 game voice chat works fine.

I have the same bug since December in my Xbox Series X, specifically in Fortnite chat.

I try eeeeeverything and nothing works....I'm really desperate 😭😭😭

This just started randomly for me last night. Exact same issue. Please help!

If you are connected by LAN cable, disconnect it and connect via Wi-Fi, that is the only thing that worked for me 🤷🏻‍♀️

This could really be a bug from the last update, in which case you'll have to wait for a fix to be released.

Hello again, this is really weird, try doing a reset on your console.

Xbox One reset keeping Games:

Press the Xbox button to open the panel.

Select system > Settings > System > Console Information

Select Reset console.

Restore and maintain my games and apps.

Rest assured, you won't miss games or saves

Note: You need to know the email and passwords of your accounts when performing this reset.
