    Can’t hear Fortnite cross play, and they can’t hear me


    I play on xbox, and ever since cross play has been a thing, i haven’t been able to hear ps4 players, and they can’t hear me either. I tried just about everything and nothing has worked. I’ve tried turning off voice chat, and turning it back on and that didn’t
    work, and all my settings seem to be allowing me to hear them, but it still isn’t working. Any feedback is greatly appreciated, thank you.

    I have a similar problem except that my my cross-platform chat simply work work. They cant hear me, I can’t hear them. I got a new headset and the problem still wasn’t fixed. I can hear other XBox players but not PS4, PC or any of the other platforms for
    Fortnite. All my settings are correct and I should be able to hear them. Maybe it’s just a Fortnite problem.

    Please, run the audio setup tool.

    Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.

    Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Volume & audio output.

    Select the Audio setup option under Advanced.

    Highlight the audio setup option you wish to use and then press the A button to begin the audio test.

    Let me know if it works!

    Thanks for the reaponse. I actually have a wireless headset now but it wasnt working with the wire headset either. My controller is also updated already.
