    Can't hear anyone or talk in xbox app


    So for about 3 days now I have not been able to talk with anyone on the xbox app. Whenever I join a party I either stay connecting infinitely or I connect but can't talk or hear anyone. This just started a couple days ago and I haven't touched anything
    on my settings to change any of this so I have no idea what to do about it. I have tried basically every way to fix this that most of the forums suggest with no success at all. Tried everything from resetting my router, checking NAT type with everyone I'm
    trying to join, and looking at my settings to see if something would prevent me from talking to them. I can't find what is causing this, so if someone could help it would be really appreciated. Thank you!

    Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. We understand that you're not able to be heard by other people in the party, and you are unable to hear the others as well. We have a support article which provides solutions for

    this exact issue    . If these solutions do not resolve the issue, you may need to do some

    network troubleshooting    . This may include toggling UPnP or port forwarding. Go ahead and try some of the solutions in these articles, and be sure to let us know the results!

    hey how did you use your mic in xbox app party chat in the first place? i launched "start a party (beta)" and it shows my mic, but i can't talk or hear anyone in the party chat. and my mic is the default recording device

    Have you checked the mic's compatibility with Xbox? Perhaps the version or company doesn't support that specific microphone...
