Discus and support can't get through a movie with VUDU without it stopping in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; Everytime I play a vudu movie HDX it will play for awhile then just stop and hang.     can't get through a movie with VUDU without it stopping


    Everytime I play a vudu movie HDX it will play for awhile then just stop and hang. I then have to back out, quit VUDU then restart sometimes it will play the rest othertimes it will hang up again. This weekend it was so bad that I loaded up the PS3 and
    it played the HDX version perfectly with no stops. My internet is great and vudu says I can play hdx no problem.

    BTW I had done a hard reset this weekend as well right before playing the movie.

    I've had the same problem just recently and I'm lucky if I can get through watching a movie without it stopping about 5 times telling me that the service is not available. and I keep reading about other people having problems with Vudu but I don't see any
    about a fix.

    VUDU does not play movies

    Can't figure out why the VUDU app will not stream my movies for me. They have always worked in the past, but now when I go to bring up a movie through the app, I get a 'Playback Error' that says 'Sorry, VUDU Movies isn't available right now. Please try again
    later'. Well, it's later and the stupid thing still won't work. Anyone have any idea as to why this is happening and how to fix it? I've already deleted the app and downloaded it again with the same results.

    If the Vudu app is still available on Xbox 360, you should be able to access Movies Anywhere through it. You just need to have your Vudu account synced with Movies Anywhere.

    I have vudu & flixster & both are linked to ultraviolet (also have cinemanow linked.), but I cannot watch vudu on flixster & vice versa. also, linked to disney through vudu & the disney movies are not on cinemanow, nor are any flixster movies on cinemanow.

    Dude, this is specific to Xbox. I have no issues on any other device. The issues include no sound on HDX to error messages that state that I should switch to SD cause my network isn't running fast enough for HDX. This being ridiculous cause I happen to have Google Fiber which is a Fiber Optic High Speed internet running up to 2 Gigibits per second. The plan that we pay for here is 80 dollars for up to 1 Gigibit per second. I have Movie's anywhere which allows for movies to cross between different streaming movie apps. I have played movies at HD on Microsoft movies on my Xbox one S and it plays fine. No sound issues, no issues with consistent HD. Not to mention, I have no issues with doing XCloud streaming, which is literal game streaming, without a slowdown or frame rate issue. If my Xbox can keep up with XCloud then it should have no issue with HDX. Ever since Vudu was bought out by Fandango, it seems this issue became an on again and off again issue. I would literally stop using Vudu if it weren't for the money invested in movies I can't get back. Never had this issue when Vudu was associated with Walmart. Still, the only constant is the app specifically for Xbox. I pay extra sometimes for HDX and expect to be able to enjoy my movies that way on my Xbox. Aside from my phone, I don't have an alternate way to view Vudu. Yet it runs on my phone without a problem. So yeah, I think Vudu needs to work on this once and for all. So darn tired of this.
