    Can't get the Gold Brick in the Library's Restricted Section at Hogwarts in the Lego Harry...


    I've played this game on DS, 3DS, Wii, and now Xbox 1. I've never come across this glitch before.

    I've got 199 out of 200 Gold Bricks. I've bought all of the characters (besides Voldemort), completed all of the levels, saved all of the Students in Peril, collected all of the Hogwarts Crests, gotten every True Wizard, Put together all of the statues in the basement of the Leaky Cauldron, and gone through every room in Hogwarts and every Time Turner section of Hogwarts. I've got everything turned on, and I've read everything. I've bought all of the extra spells and Gold Bricks in Diagon Alley. I've even done all of the Bonus Levels in Gringotts, including the Builder Levels.

    The last Gold Brick, according to my Gold Brick Detector, is in the Restricted Section of the Library in Hogwarts. I could swear I've already zapped all three hats, and my game doesn't show any hats anywhere, but the Detector arrow is still pointing to right in front of the shelves in the left of the double doors in the back. I've turned the console off and back on, the controller off and back on, started a new game and gone back, done everything I can think of, and still no brick.

    I'm OCD, and I hate leaving things unfinished. I've done everything I can, including the Xbox Achievements for this game, that doesn't require Voldemort. If anyone has a solution, please tell me, because this is driving me crazy!

    LEGO® Harry Potter: Years 1-4

    #4 – Location: Clock Tower

    To earn this Gold Brick, you simply need to attack the painting on the right side. After doing so, pick up the purple-colored Gear and place it with the other Gears. You’ll be rewarded by the bell with another Gold Brick to add to your growing collection.
    Note: This Gold Brick can be glitchy and may not appear.

    This is the one that needs to be done first. the other thing in the room might be something else as i can't find the other gold brick in the list but that is what needs to be done in the room first!

    Lego Pirates freezing.

    it kept freezing for me once you got to freeplay mode and went into the areas you couldn't get into before. the amount of times i had to restart a level after getting 6 mini kits was annoying and made me angry. but like everyone said its a lego game, expect
    it. lego harry potter glitched on the last gold brick so i had to start over to 1000 it.

    I think it depends on your movie/content interest and how recently you've seen the movie or content. I loved Harry Potter...and the Lego Harry Potter. I sorta like Batman, and didn't really like the Lego game. I love Star wars and the Lego games were fun
    too. AND I reeeally enjoyed LOTR so I can't wait for the games. Another huge factor is CO-OP. It adds A LOT to the Lego games so if you have a bud/girl, it really enhances the experience too. I reccomend the Harry Potter games most, if you enjoyed the movies.
