Cant get my fortnite account on pc!!

I figured it out yesterday after I posted this on reddit multiple people had the same problem

We understand that you're having trouble logging into your Fortnite account on PC. If you're unable to remember the email address associated with your Epic Games account, it could be linked to the previous account you played Fortnite with.

You can try the following steps:

Check your account achievements through Xbox Profile:

1. On a browser, go to Xbox Account | Profile

2. Sign into your account.

3. Check the achievements tab and see if you can find Fortnite.



Account linked to Epic Games:

1. On a browser, go to the Epic Games website and click on the "Sign In" button.

2. Select the platform you used in playing Fortnite.

If you recall installing the game from Xbox app or playing it through Xbox Console. Then, please select the Xbox icon.

3. On the next page, if you are getting this message then most likely you have not linked your account yet.

4. Follow the prompts to verify your email address.



If you're still unable to recover your email address, you can contact Epic Games support for further assistance. They may be able to help you recover your account by verifying your identity through other means. Please use this link: Support request (epicgames.com) and select the option - "I'm unable to log in to my account."

i was having the same problems but i spelt it perfectly

so what my problem was that I had misspelled my email so what I did one by one is remove a letter and then put it back and remove another one and then I ended up finding what I missed
