Can't get Microsoft Accessories to Allow Configuring of Controller

Hi,

I can't seem to get Xbox Accessories to recognize my sign in when I try to configure my controller. Every time I try it pops up that I need the Identity Provider and to log into the xbox app, but I already have that downloaded and am currently signed into the xbox app. Accessories recognizes that there is a controller hooked up, as I did do a firmware update on the controller as well as tried the controller input thing. I haven't tried deleting the apps and redownloading. The controller is connected through wire. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Every time I have this issue I try deleting both the Accessories app and the Xbox app I highly recommend trying it!

Hi

The Elite Controller has a feature that allows you to customise the left and right stick sensitivity and I suspect this will allow you to adjust the controller to a setting you are more comfortable with..

Thanks for coming to the forums. On a windows 10 PC you get the accessories app. This will allow you to configure the controller.

Thanks for keeping us updated with your reply. Since you have updated your PC to the latest Windows build, if you're having trouble

updating the Elite controller using the Xbox Accessories app, then there may be an issue with the app itself if it isn't allowing you to update the controller. You may wish to run the App troubleshooter to see if there may be something with the app itself
that requires a "fix". Fix problems with apps from Microsoft Store

In regard to configuring your Elite controller, you would need the Xbox Accessories app for that as well: Use the Xbox
Accessories app to configure your Xbox Elite Wireless Controller

If you continue to experience issues updating or configuring your Elite controller using your Windows 10 PC, then you may need to attempt to do so from a different PC or an Xbox One console.
