can't get into microsoft account and can't access the email to which codes are sent

We are sorry that you are facing such issues with your account. However, please be aware that the recovery form is the only method to recover your account, and support are unable to influence the decision-making process that goes into this.

Microsoft takes your privacy and account security seriously, which is why the recovery form asks for as much information as it can. You can continue submitting new forms when you think of new information related to your Microsoft account that may help prove that you are the owner of the account.

I answer the questions and go through the form. It says that my account is verified and sends me to the password re-set page. I don't want to re-set the password (although I have done so twice hoping that will help). When all of that is done, I am sent back to sign in where it again demands a code from the email address to which I no longer have access (ergo the uninterruptible do loop). Using the form is useless. It makes no difference. There is no reason to have an "I don't have access to these anymore" route if no matter what you do it demands that you use the email account to which you have no access. It is just a way to cause massive amounts of frustration. I guarantee my son (who had maybe 2nd grade reading skills around the time the account was set up) didn't set it up with 2-step verification. This is just insane. Clearly based on what I have read online MANY people have lost their accounts for this type of reason. Microsoft says they take security seriously, but they apparently don't care at all about people losing thousands of dollars of games, etc. for which they have paid when they are unable to access their accounts.

Sorry about the issue that you're having. Technically, the reason why support cannot view the account details is because they have a verification process. And that's sending a verification code to the email, alt email and phone that have been assigned to
the account. For security purposes, they can't view which email or phone those are sent. Accounts are customer's liability so Microsoft believe that every customer should have access to the security info they've used for their own accounts.

As the message says, you must get a security code that is send to the e-mail account that is shown there (at the same page that ask you to insert the security code you can see the email account that it was sent to). If you can't find the e-mail with the
security code, please check your email junk box. If you can't access the email account that is shown there, you can change it by going into "My account" (here, at xbox.com). Please have in mind that changing your email account may need some time to take effect.

The damn codes don't work now I'm locked out of my gold account. Because I can't access the old email I had before igot hacked and i couldnt get in it. the code they sent to my phone and other email doesn't work either. I'm getting sick of this bs
