Can't get into it.

Wanted to play it for awhile since alot of friends were playing the beta. However I just can't enjoy the game since you basically get sniped by people as soon as you try to leave your spawn. Seems like a complete pay2win game considering you can just buy
silver to keep upgrading your tanks.

Can't get into multiplayer

Hey there!

Which specific game are you receiving an error in? Xbox Live error codes will either look like 0x00000000 or XBOS-0000. That error posted seems a little long, and may be specific to a certain game.

Go ahead and try a 'Multiplayer connection test' within the Xbox One Network settings and let us know which errors you receive. Thanks!

 

yeah you might be in a level 1 game but then there might be players who know the game (maps and how tanks work) in there who will own you if you are totally new.

all you have to do it grind a lot and level up you'll learn the maps and move on.

if you got sniped then the other team worked well... because a light / medium fast tank spotted you and a tank destroyer or heavy got you.

 

Stick with tier 1 or 2 tanks and just fool around. If you get enough silver upgrade your equipment with things that improve you sight range.

 

Its not COD, one life, you must see and not be seen or your dead.

Its very simple, but some can't help but run ahead of their view range and end up being easy pickings for the rest.

Best learned in the US TD line, as you can be one shotted by nearly anyone, so unless you learn how to not be seen, you'll never make it.

Does help to have a T14 in the garage to just run over and bully people, it can take quiet a beating.

 

I can't really get into this crap either. Even with heavy tanks going against light or medium tanks, all my shots even with red reticule, no matter which angle or where I shoot them, always ricochet or cause very little damage yet they can always, even with
their lower tier light tanks kill me in just a few shots. No matter how I angle my heavy tank. So wtf is with this game? Is it just another "Unless you give us money you're gonna be useless" piles of crap? I've watched all the training videos, and other youtube
videos with tips on angling your tank etc. Nothing works. I'm beginning to get fed up with these Pay2Win "free" games.

 

I have not spend any money on the game. I need another 14k on the m37 (arty) to get to tier 5. And I don't play seriously. Aim at the top or back of tank. No mano on mano tactics. Try to get a mic and talk with your teammates. Stay together and dog pile
one tank at a time. You won't get the kill but every dead tank on their side is one less shooting at you.

 

your crew starts off at 50% skill, you have to play and train them. Plus every tank can be killed very quick if you know where to aim. - think deathstar 99% un touchable, one very tiny port to aim for and it all goes up. tank work the same, you gotta know
where to shoot, not only how to shoot.

So just looking at those posting here, the 2.25 K/d are not going be the norm.

 

K/D mean nothing in this game, it all about the amount of damage done, thats is how you are scored. COD kids always crying in the forums that someone stole their kill, "you can have the last shot worth 11point if you want........" plus if a high teir tank,
probably not worth the cost of the round to even fire.

 

Though if you stick to what your only good at, you could have a high K/R, I can bully people and get 5+ kills a game in my T14 heavy tank. Or hide and snipe in a TD. but Im doing the achievements, light tanks and arty really drop it down. Though I still
make big points from "spotting" [as a scout you don't have to even kill to earn big points n silver] and arty takes forever for the aiming circle to close. IM happy with 1 kill a game. Long I come out cash positive at the end.

 

All I was trying to say earlier is I now have a couple of heavy tanks as well as 1 of each other type, I always travel with team mates and try to help out, but when I fight another heavy or even a medium or light all my shots no matter what weak points I
hit, no matter what angle I hit them at or what colour the reticule, I either get "It bounced off" every shot or it causes very little damage. Even against lights. I find it frustrating. The only tank I have done well in and been able to help my team with
is probably my M3 Lee. I've gone Churchill vs Churchill, T1 Heavy vs T1 Heavy, Churchill vs Matilda, T1 Heavy vs M3 Stuart...same thing every time. All my shots no matter where, what angle or distance and reticule colour, I always get ricochet or little damage
and I die in a few shots. If you can shed some light on what I might be doing wrong I would appreciate it. P.S. That k/d of mine is probably because of the M3 Lee.

 

There are chart's out there to learn where to aim for the weak spot's on every tank in the game!

 

you can't forget about the damage you can't see, you can hurt them allot and the green bar doesn't move a hair. cause your hurting crew or equipment, not armor. Plus every tank can be tracked, allot of those massive steel wall tanks, pound their tracks
enough they will be stuck for others to help kill them. Most you need to get behind, shooting head on isn't fruitful as often. it can take 2-3 tanks to team up and kill a heavy quick. But people don't pay enough attention to the big map and use or help your
team as the battle goes. Why I like the T14, most get into that single player mode and I just roll right through deep into enemy ground killing at will, as unless 2-3 team up on me, I can just drive right by and keep going. Another good tip, once your seen,
best to not stop, sitting still just gets you killed quicker in that case, No one says you have to stop and sit there and get shot at, but most do, like some dumb civil war line up n fire game. And they get confused when you don't stop and just keep going,
then like morons they turn around and expose their rear to your team, tosses most team out of whack when they all turn to chase one boob and forget the 14 others coming close behind.
