Can’t get into Dark Souls game server on Xbox Series X

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

To fix this, please perform an extended powercycle and reset your network hardware by following the steps below:

1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

If that didn't work resetting the console keeping games and apps will be the next option. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.

If FROM SOFTWARE would have shut down the demons souls servers like they were going to do in the first place and use those server for Dark Souls, we wouldn't have this problem, but then they changed their minds and decided to keep Demon Souls servers running
so now the Dark Souls players are surffering for it.

From Software has nothing to do with the servers in Demon Souls. ATLUS is the one running those servers for Demon Souls. The only way Dark Souls can get dedicated servers is if Namco Bandai do this for us and I dont think that would happen.

So, as it turns out they have shutdown dark souls 2 servers for maintenance, started right at the time I inserted my game , so it may be nothing to do with Microsoft and everything to do with dark souls servers

I guess the connectivity issue is still a problem since the games still doesn't have dedicated servers like Demon Souls.

Don't really replay games but pretty much any RPGs except the dark souls/demon souls series
