Can't get games with gold Xbox 360 on Xbox One.

Hello! This has been happening to me ever since the backwards compatibility came out on the Xbox One and I can't install any games that were on the Xbox 360. When I go to the store and click on the Xbox 360 gold game of the month, it says 'see price' then
when I click it, it says "(Game name) features Xbox One Backward Compatibility. You can play it on your Xbox One and Xbox 360" I click continue and a page flashes for about a 1/2 a second and it goes back to the gold page. If you know how to fix this PLEASE
let me know.

Cannot purchase "free" 360 games on Xbox one or Xbox.com

It has always been like that not unless there will be an update regarding in redeeming Xbox 360 games with gold on the website. Xbox 360 marketplace has a different structure than on Xbox One Store. Xbox 360 games with gold on the website will need a payment
method. In Xbox 360 console, you won't need one. Currently, you can't redeem Xbox 360 games with gold using Xbox One console and still under progress about redeeming Xbox 360 games with gold on Xbox One console. Either get the games using an Xbox 360 console,
or get the games on the website with a payment method.

xbox 360 retrocompatibility

I can't transfer from xbox 360 gold free games from my xbox one. just from the site, i've made it on xbox 360 gold on dirt 3, but i can't with Dungeon Siege III

What your talking about has happened to me with splunky hd not on xbox one store.

Do you still have a 360 because you can go to the 360 shop on 360 and it should appear on the one.

Also you can shop from xbox.com and again it should appear in your ready 2 install digital section.

I've tried this on the PC and it doesn't work it says I have to do it on my Xbox.

Do you by any chance have a child account. If so, you cannot purchase Xbox 360 games on the Xbox One or xbox.com. The only way you can purchase those games is by using an Xbox 360.

If you have an adult account, then make sure you are using a credit card to purchase the Xbox 360 games.

First supermeatball boy was a xbox one arcade game not a 360

2nd you can't get the game for two reasons you aren't gold

If you are using home gold it doesn't apply to xbox 360 games

You need to do it from a gold account

Games With Gold games are only available on Xbox 360 and Xbox One and are only downloadable from the consoles, you can't get them any other way.

Unfortunately the information given to you is incorrect (unless Microsoft changed that behavior).

If a person uses a shared Gold membership on a console, they can only use the Multiplayer benefits and party chat on that console.

The account itself is actually a free account, and therefore loses access to the Xbox One games with Gold.

An account using a shared Gold membership can't get Games with Gold, won't get Gold discounts on game purchases and other Gold benefits.

They can ONLY play multiplayer games and participate in Parties on the console that is sharing the Gold membership.

The Xbox 360 games will remain available, as the Xbox 360 system doesn't know how a "rental" license works and can't be revoked.

If you "bought" a Xbox 360 game as a Game with Gold, it will stay with you forever.

Xbox One games with gold cease to function if you are not a "real" Gold member. Shared Gold will not enable you to these games.
