Can't get Cloud gaming with Child account in Game pass

so i would have to pay for 2 game passes? she can use game-pass on my Xbox under HER gamertag but not on her tablet? she is using my account on her tablet to bypass this...why would i pay another subscription just so she can play on her tablet? should link
with her gamertag on all devices.

The Home setting only applies to the console. She would need the subscription on her account in order to use Xcloud.

We have exactly the same issue. One of the major benefits buying Meta Quest 3 for Xmas was that my son can play
its XBOX Cloud Gaming Games on the Quest3. However, this is not possible since child accounts are blocked.
I don't understand why this is the case, as the Games work on Xbox with Cloud Gaming but not with Meta Quest.

Our Ultimate Gamepass belongs to his child account. The only option today would be to convert his child account to an adult one, but then I would loose all control as parent. Or purchase a second game pass just for an adult account on the Meta, but then again I can use it, but have no control.

XBox Cloud gaming is still beta, so developers should look into this to reseolve the problem.

As ngocphi has pointed out, you can't download X/S games to an Xbox One console. The account with the actual Game Pass Ultimate subscription can play these games via the cloud but cloud gaming is not sharable. It is a feature only available to the account with the subscription. A second account on the "Home" Xbox One will not be able to play any X/S games through the cloud unless they actually purchase Game Pass Ultimate.

A child account is any account under the age of 18. You can't change an adult account to a child account. You may want to get clarity from him on what he is trying to do. There is no such thing as a family Game Pass. Having someone on a family acocunt just means they can adjust settings for that account.
