    Can't get back into original account.


    My friend was trying to play minecraft and it showed that she doesn't own java edition, we checked her account and it was entirely different, same email but different name, gamertag and picture. I still have her original account as friends on xbox and it shows she's been online a month ago, but when she tries to log into her microsoft with her email it directs her to this "new" one. Did she just loose her original microsoft account or is there just a simple mismatch or something?

    Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. As long as you know the email address or gamertag of the account, it can be recovered. The best way to recover the account is to contact the
    Xbox support team with that knowledge. Be sure to let us know the results!

    If you know the login information for the account now, you would need to go to
    http://enforcement.xbox.com to see if you can submit a case review for the suspension.

    Otherwise, you would need to try contacting support again. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the US/Canada or http://support.xbox.com/contact-us

    That would be the email that you used when you signed up for your original gamertag. Without it, you can't get the account back.

    If the entire account is under a new email and you can't sign in. Try contacting live support if you are the original creator of the account and have the original Xbox you created on you should be able to get it back with your Xbox live I'd number etc. Found in your consoles setting.
