Can't get an Xbox Wireless Controller 4th in Korea. $164 in the market for a month.

Still crazy expensive. It seems to be getting even higher now. I thought I found one on a local online marketplace at an acceptable price but it turned out to be a scam (older gen controller, they sneakily swapped the pictures after a couple days).

With regards to purchasing items from the U.S to your region, you would have to look for a online store that provides international shipment. The Play and Charge kit for xbox 360 does NOT allow you to use the controller as wireless on a PC. It only transfers power and not data.

To use the xbox 360 wireless controller with a PC you will need the wireless adapter for windows or buy a purely wired USB xbox 360 controller (the kind that you can't take the cable out).

You can get the wireless adapters pretty cheap on the secondary market I believe.

My wireless xbox controller will turn my xbox console (xbox one s) on, but will not operate the console after it is on. This started as I was playing and walked away from the xbox console with the controller in my hand. I cannot get the controller to connect to, or control, the xbox either wirelessly or with a USB-C cable attached. Also, this controller will not turn the console off. This controller may be 8-12 weeks old. I have a second controller that will turn on, operate and turn off the console, but it will not hold the horizontal so I can't use it. (This is at least the 3rd or 4th controller I've had to buy.)

Well if the Hong Kong market is different than I apologize as when I was referring to the Asian markets I meant Korea and Japan.

No you don't! Actually I must thank you for sharing the situation that you know in Korea, letting me confirm the situation Xbox doing in Asia.

Even though I need any apology, it must be from Microsoft and their sales and marketing team, especially the one in Hong Kong. Shame on you Microsoft HK and Xbox HK.
