every time I go on my Xbox 360 it says that a system update is available for Xbox live. Do you want to apply the update? I always click yes but then it keeps telling me that I don't have a storage device with at least 190 MB of space even though I DO have
one. Then my storage goes "unformatted" And I ALWAYS delete the format and system cache but it never does anything, I keep doing what it asks me to do. I had to delete all my saved data for something that didn't even work. Shake my head. what do I do?

somebody help!!!

I have xbox 360 S console, it`s original and i use xbox live almost every day. Yesterday i started updating, it downloaded an update, and when it started updating - this appeared on my screen-

Can`t find update on storage device. Please switch storage device again to continue updating.

Code: 3F4B - 4099 - 2780 - 1315 - C000 - 0032

I cant do anything with storage device it`s internal - it`s inside xbox, but I have hard drive 320 GB for xbox 360 S console , maybe it will help somehow

Are you trying to delete the minimal amount of storage to get the update, sometimes the approximate storage it says it needs is in reality not what it really takes, make sure you give ample amount of storage for a system update like these.

Often in the older 360 consoles with the built in memory unit, this issue will occur.

When the memory unit fails, the Xbox sees that there's an update available since it can't see the update that was on the storage device. When the Xbox tries to download/install the update, the update can't install because of the failed storage device.

Does your Xbox 360 have the memory unit and/or the hard drive?
