Can’t get a Teredo IP address but my NAT type is open.

You’ll need to check your router’s confutation UI for an IPv6 settings page, and then look for the following options:

Allow Teredo tunneling

Allow IPv6 tunneling

Reboot your network device or router.

If you still see a screen that says Can’t get a Teredo IP address, or if your NAT Type is listed as Unavailable, then look for the following option on your router’s confutation UI: Enable IPv6

If you see this setting, ensure that it is set to No (or Disabled). Reboot your network again.

If you do not see the screen that says Can’t get a Teredo IP address this time, then check your new NAT type. If your NAT Type is Open, you’re done!

If you do see the Can’t get a Teredo IP address screen again.

it says nat type unavailable also it says can't get a teredo ip address

Yes, NAT type shows strict and testing the multiplayer connection yields this error: 'Can't get a Teredo IP address'
