    Can’t finish multiplayer tests (0x0000000000000000)


    I am unable to get my console fully online. When connection to my house's internet, my console says it is connected to the internet, but then I go to the home screen and it still says I'm not on xbox live. Then when I go to do a multiplayer test, an error
    keeps coming up where it says "can't finish multiplayer tests". Ive tried reseting my router, and have done multiple hard resets on my console (hold the power button for eight seconds, unplug, wait 5 mins, plug back in and power on and try again). I just tried
    to do a hard reset plus removing my account from my console, but now my console isn't letting me log into my account because it still thinks its not connected to internet/xbox live even tho it is showing that I am connected to the internet on my network settings
    page. I now have no way of getting my account back on my console. NAT type is also showing up as unavailable. What can I do to fix this issue?

    Have you tried to contact your internet service provider? You can also try to unplug and replug your router.

    Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart
    the console.

    Hello Jeromy,

    Sorry for the issue you are having an issue with connecting. Being that you have done a reset and at the set up, can you connect to a hotspot or maybe a friends internet connection to try and get it at least through the set up. Also when doing this any other
    error come up then one you posted like may be a hardware issue?

    Sounds like the console would benefit from port forwarding. Give it a shot with help from the
    Internet Service Provider and let us know if we can further assist with this or any issue!
    I have the exact same problem and I tried these steps with no success.

    So I haven't been able to play for a long time due to network, but my network is completely fine, I ran through every test, yet it says I'm connected, on the other hand I can't connect to multiplayer. I reset, signed in and out, I fully shut down, I even
    checked if my xbox was up to date. Everything stays the same, When I run test multiplayer it says "can't finish multiplayer tests". it tells me to back up and and try the test again. But my network is fine, what else do I need to do to fix this?
