    Can’t finish Horizon 5 start sequence - crashes every time


    I cannot finish the start sequence for Horizon 5, as the game crashes somewhere along the way to the festival EVERYTIME (13/13 fails). This is on a beast PC (3080/Ryzen 7 (5800)/ 32GB - all updated and current GPU drivers), with no failures on any other games (have 78 loaded into the system; tried 10 resource hogs…all good). Dropped out of Extreme graphics mode, no change. Crashes to black screen and then game restart is required; no progress recorded since the Festival cannot be reached…no way to skip the startup event.

    Hoping a fix comes along, or a skip button…anyone else having the same?

    To Mods: no codes, and I don’t see a way to collect one in the XBox app.

    The “problems” im having are the fact that my game can’t get past the start screen without crashing after ive reset my xbox 3 times and have re installed the game now 5 times.

    For me RE5 started out good, then it started to go down hill at the end of the vehicle sequence. By the time it turned into Tomb Raider, I just wanted to finish it.

    thank you for the help Jesse but that didn't seem to work, There is nothing when it crashes no error message or anything so i am starting to think it is just the game. Every other game runs fine, only forza horizon 5 seems to have this problem.

    this is what i get.

    I got 3 crashes during my playtime today.

    1. I start the game, press start then crash.

    2. Start the game again, no crash this time and manage to finish a dungeon, when i come out of dungeon, crash again( i didnt see the base at all).

    3. Start the game again. press start and crash again.
