Can't find WWE Network

    Can't find WWE Network


    Helly everybody !

    I have tried to download the WWE Network app on my Xbox 360 for a couple of months now but every time i look on the Xbox360 marketplace i can't find it.

    On the WWE website its noted that the network is also available for Xbox360 but also with the manual "how to download" i'm not able to find it.

    At this moment i have a Xbox live silver account so perhaps this is the reason why i can't find it ?

    I hope somebody can help me with this one.

    On the wwe website they say that you must go to the xbox marketplace and just download it but i can't find it anywhere.

    Can somebody perhaps tell me what i'm doing wrong ?

    Perhaps good to mention is that i have a Xbox live silver account and not gold.....could this be reason why i can't find it ?

    Do you meant to say that you tried connecting directly to the modem without an issue? Can you try disabling your wireless security settings entirely, and then try to connect, to see if that works?

    How do you have xbox live silver? I am pretty sure they disconnected that.

    Hey, StealthxxAK! Silver is just an older term for the Xbox Live Free accounts. A lot of people still use it, so it's still recognized as common nomenclature.

    Cheetah, I searched for it myself and it seems to be coming up. The
    WWE on Xbox Live setup page     (for the US) states that you just need to have an Xbox Live account, which is any account, free or Gold, that connects online.

    Please make sure you're checking the
    service status page     for your region for the list of Apps available in your region. You can also check out the
    Xbox Live Apps page for the full list of apps in all regions we have Xbox Live!

    Hopefully this helps you out! Post back your results, and we'll work to see if we can get you sorted out if you're still unable to see it and it's available in your region. Can't find WWE Network :D

    I can tell you guys what the problem is, (since I seem to be smarter than the "techs" working on this.) I can't believe the techs are this dumb. Anyway, the problem is the stupid way they decided roll out the WWE Network app on Xbox 360. There was already
    a WWE app for watching PPVs, for which you had to have an account on WWE.com and pay the typical webcast fee for each monthly PPV. Instead of doing the smart thing and releasing a separate app for WWE Network, they added WWE Network via a patch for the existing
    app. Why was this a bad idea? As I mentioned, the original app linked up to a different account, (or at least a different "subscription".) Most likely by doing a patch, they *** up how the app authenticates and the app is currently looking for a monthly
    PPV webcast purchase account/subscription, and not a WWE Network subscription.

    I think the problems with the Xbox 360 app are due to the idiotic way they decided to implement WWE Network on Xbox 360. Yesterday morning I went on the XBL App marketplace to look for the WWE Network app, and it wasn't there. What I suspected turned out
    to be the case:

    They implemented WWE Network as an update patch for the existing WWE app. This causes a problem that I don't think WWE has even considered yet, (based on reports from lordsofpain.net anyway.) See, the pre-existing WWE app on Xbox 360 was exclusively for
    viewing WWE PPVs you would pay to watch ala WWE.com PPV webcasts. Therefore an account for viewing those old format PPVs and an account for WWE Network are not quite the same thing. I believe someone *** up and did not configure the "updated" version of the
    WWE app to check account details as they pertain to WWE Network, rather than the previous account credentials needed for viewing the old format PPVs.

    They could have avoided this whole mess by just releasing an entirely separate WWE Network app. I'm baffled that these morons haven't figured this out yet.
