Can't find solution to make xbox app work correctly

On most scenarios, a power cycle fixes this kind of issues. Try performing one!

I remember finding a solution for this before but I can't for the life of me remember it (If I can find it again, I will post it). However, there is another solution I found that has worked for some people:

Cancel the installation

Leave the disc in the Xbox

Download the XBox App to your phone

Search for the game in the app

It should give you an option to download to console.

This should install the game and then it will prompt you to insert disc to confirm ownership (probably disc 2)

You have to make sure your settings are set correctly i also find it easy to.use my smartglass app

I don't understand why the techs can't find out solution. Go back to Xbox app.. see what y'all changed prior to update before. This needs to be addressed. Xbox has community, I think it needs to be aware. If we had dedicated app. Xbox would be more open to more groups of young people and adults. If teamspeak and discord record voice so perfect and smooth but Xbox app can't even compete.. 100k app vs 10 billion dollar company. Make it make sense.. how does company fail to bring community on their own app.

Also, if you have any third-party antivirus programs installed on your device, disable it. Make sure to restart your device to sync all changes made and check if the Xbox app works correctly.
