That's odd, probably in this case the purchase was made on another account, you could try recovering it

If it's a Microsoft account you could try this:

You can try all the emails you remember or if you had a phone number attached to the account, you can use that too.

Question 2: I didn't get a confirmation email from anyone so with a Transaction ID + Minecraft support isn't helpful.

If you finally are not able to find which email or where is the confirmation email, the best option will be dispute this charge with your bank and ask them for a refund.
