    Hi, Microsoft.

    I recently bought an Xbox One X model for developing purposes. But when I was trying to turn on Dev Mode, I can't find the "Dev Mode Activation" app in Xbox One Microsoft Store, It's in the Chinese area by
    the way. Is that supposed to be?

    I can't even change my system location or language, is there any other way that I can have it installed?

    Chinese Xbox Live is its own thing and it wouldnt suprise me if this is unavailable in mainland China.

    I recommend contacting xbox support as activating dev mode on such software may not be allowed.

    Thanks for bringing this up, I've tried but seems like this problem is out of their area, the CN Xbox One support team can't answer this one either.

    Chinese Xbox Live is its own thing and it wouldnt suprise me if this is unavailable in mainland China.

    No dev mode activation app in store?

    As far as I am aware the app should be available to anyone right now. Rather than searching a specific section in the store try searching the whole store, dev devmode dev mode all bring the app here for me.

    I'm not sure if having the Xbox set as your home xbox makes a difference or not but that may be worth checking out.
