Can't find a game in my region store

I want to purchase a game for my xbox one (starpoint gemini warlords), but i can't find it in the store from my console. Searching online i saw that the game is indeed on the US microsoft store, but since i live in Italy i can't buy it. There is a particular
reason why the game doesn't appear in my region's store? There is a legit way to buy the game i'm interested in? Will it ever be avaible in my region?

There can be various reasons why a game is not released in specific regions. Usually it's due to rules to regulations in the region. You'd have to contact the developers/publishers to see if they can give you more information and see if they have plans on
releasing it there.

Otherwise, if it's available on disc you could purchase it that way, but if the game is region locked through Xbox there is no legit way to purchase it digitally.

At least you guys can actually purchase the game. I'm in Australia and it's not available in my region. I accidentally had the region set to the US, so I changed it, and now I can't even find it in the store! What gives?!? Why are there even region specifics
for games? It's totally crap!

Thank you for the reply, but to be honest i don't use any VPN stuff to download apps&games. For myself, the download shouldn't start at all if there is a region control. But in my case, download starts as it should be, but gives "can't download" error ~80%.

Is it really related with the region selection?

This game is not in Xbox Turkey accounts and I couldn't find the game in stores or as a 2nd hand. That's why i had to switch my region to US. :/

You have to do it on the ms store if you live in an ms store region

Not all xbox regions have a ms store

If browsing the website you can't find an ms store link and only partners then you don't have an ms store

Just Google microsoft store

Then select youir tegion

Nope....my region would be singapore, but i able to download arcade game from the this us region marketplace and also i can't find the game datepack on other region.
